About Sanna
Sanna Holdert (1975) Bodyworker, founder of BodyMindAwareness; Transformational Bodywork
A bodyworker with passion, compassion and interest in what moves (and doesn't move) in us
How my journey began:
After years of traveling, film work (and before that also catering) my body called me to the yoga mat in 1998-2005 because of a lifestyle that was too wild, fast and too heavy.. Fun but also exhausting, so: Purification time! meditation, yoga, rest, self-reflection and healthy food (nourishing instead of filling) to increasingly connect with "Myself"..
I started a Massage training in 2005 and in 2007 I suddenly became a Yoga Teacher (after more than 8 years of practicing yoga on and off myself, I wanted to deepen and inspire others)
Dancing quickly enchanted me and gave me space between the lines in the lessons and in my own life.. and I will always continue to dance!!!
I have shared women's work (from first women's circles to later deepening women's groups and pelvic care) with great pleasure for years.
But in recent years I have mainly focused on Transformative work, De-armouring, Breathwork and MyoFascial Energetic Release to really work on all levels.. from body to deeper layers of awareness (emotional and trauma work) to liberation.
This has given me even more to clear up on deeper layers and gain insight and compassion. This work touches me the most and I find it magical to help people through processes and to support them or to hold space. To invite people to feel and to let them unfold/to come to the surface/to clarify/to heal... and what wants to.
Nature is my great inspiration and I myself live simplistically in nature. The deepening that I myself sought and seek also flourishes in my work.
In recent years, my passion has expanded to include more deeper work; MyoFascialRelease, deep bodywork through which blockages are touched and can be released both physically and emotionally. deArmouring is still a little more focused on emotional blockages, but here I work with bodywork deep or very energetic and breathing. Breathwork, connected breathing to bring change and clarification to the unconscious layers.
I still give 1 yoga lesson because I simply have a lot of experience with bodywork and therefore give fun lessons that help people to become aware of body and mind, to become still and to feel themselves... with everything I have learned about body awareness and not so much "yoga postures" and so a tear or humor is human and welcome.

I have researched all of this, made it my own, how it worked for me and transformed it all into my own blend..
My sessions are focused on transformation and rebalancing body mind, so healing trauma so that emotion and mind are freed from patterns and you become more your true self. I work a lot on feeling (intuitively) with my experience and in contact with the client.. MER, de-Armouring and Breathing coach sessions really work on the deeper layers, you will recognize and feel your blockages, inhibitions, flight reactions, pains, absence etc. and get the choice to let them go/free and experience more space and freedom to be yourself. Through attention, energy, breath and pressure, the body will respond to all layers of being and you will notice that in the weeks after through dreams, changing patterns/habits, feeling more open and more present. A true medicine I find myself..! Sometimes I work deeply, sometimes softly, just what is needed to stimulate the natural flow and to come home more in the body (in your feeling and out of the head).
Cacao has come my way in many ways, starting with the chocolate club in 2007? under the name raw cacao. What it brought me then was not at all what it brings now.. time and place, life phases etc. The last 2 years I have mainly done a lot of inner journey-ing with cacao myself and did not feel the call to step into the role of "cacao ceremony leader". But one day I did feel a Yes to be allowed to use the Cacao in my transformative work in bodywork and breathwork sessions 1-on-1 and also to facilitate vision walks with it/spacehold for those who feel called to do so with someone who is there... (as a guardian, as a space holder, as a presence, as a mirror,
as a fellow human being...)
Effects: Becoming more aware of your entire body (inside and outside) and more connected to yourself, your feelings and the Love in and for ourselves. "Loving touch and attention works deeply and long on our system and stimulates our self-healing system"
